6. We Have This Hope

"We Have This Hope" is centered in the middle of the program and serves as the climax of the concert. It is arranged for two vocals, piano duet, and string quartet. The music also incorporates the tune of "The Holy City" by Michael Maybrick.

We have this hope that burns within our hearts,

Hope in the coming of the Lord.

We have this faith that Christ alone imparts,

Faith in the promise of His word.

We believe the time is near,

When the nations far and near
